The European Interest Group CONCERT-Japan (EIG CONCERT-Japan) brings together European national funding agencies with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) to support three-year research projects in an annual joint call.
The goal is to fund science and technology projects that are of common interest to both Japan and Europe, for example in the fields of energy, environment or agriculture.
