New space start-ups are discovering defence research and development through the €7.9 billion European Defence Fund (EDF) – and it’s changing how they work.

Luisa Buinhas is a co-founder and chief programme officer at Vyoma, a Munich-based company that uses data to empower automated satellite operations and increase domain awareness in space.
