Here’s how the Horizon Europe Mission is getting cancer research projects working together accelerate progress in the fight against the disease
The Horizon Europe Cancer Mission got off the ground in 2021 with a promise to save and improve three million lives by 2030. As it works towards that goal, one if the main objectives is to get all the stakeholders talking to each other to accelerate progress.
To do this, the Cancer Mission uses clusters of projects to speed up development and give momentum and scale to research in its four objectives of understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
