TUM and GE Global Research intensify research cooperation and launch new laboratory for gas turbine technology

After ten years of successful cooperation on the Garching Campus, the Technical University Munich (TUM) and GE Global Research sign a new framework agreement today in order to intensify their research cooperation. The next joint project will be setting up a worldwide unique laboratory for the development of new gas turbine technologies. The Free State of Bavaria does also contribute to the funding which amounts to about EUR13m.
