SMEs are the target for a new "portal" on the European Nanotechnology Gateway, nanoforum.org

Nanoforum has set up a new slot for SMEs. The idea, it says, is to present "different information source[s] and support organizations for SMEs and future entrepreneurs".

The site sets out is to provide a set of contacts in your region. So there is a clickable map of Europe and behind each click there's a page of detailed contacts and stuff. Some are nanotech specific, others are more general places where SMEs can huddle together or get help.

This is just one of the many things on Nanoforum which describes itself as "a pan-European nanotechnology network funded by the European Union under the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) to provide information on European nanotechnology efforts and support to the European nanotechnology community".

Unfortunately, there seem to be problems with some of the external links. We've let them know.
