The objective of the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence is to make Finland a leading country in artificial intelligence research and its utilisation.

A major new study into autism and mental health problems is being launched today in a collaboration between the Cerebra Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Birmingham, Aston University, Coventry University and UK autism research charity Autistica.

Researchers at the University of Twente’s research institute MESA+ are constructing  molecular machines capable of exerting a measurable force at nanoscale and in fluid environment. The design of these machines is based on self-assembling supramolecular tubules which can accumulate and store energy from light and convert it into a mechanical work.
