The Board of Aalto University has appointed Professor Timo Korkeamäki as the new Dean of Aalto University School of Business. The position will start on 1 January 2020, with a period of office of five years.
PhD Timo Korkeamäki is Professor of Finance and Head of Department of Finance and Economics at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. He was Hanken’s Dean of Research in 2015–2018. Between 1995 and 2008 he worked in the United States.

The dean will report to Provost Kristiina Mäkelä.
