Aalto University Professor, Olli Ikkala has received the prestigious Medema award prize in Lunteren, Netherlands, at the Dutch Polymer Days conference on the 25th March. The PTN Medema Lecture aware is granted to a prolific scientist who interacts with or has close ties to the Dutch polymer science community, and has been of great merit to PTN, the Dutch graduate school of Polymer science & technology.

Professor Ikkala is the leader of the Molecular Materials research group in the department of Applied Physics. He is also the director of the HYBER Center of Excellence.
