Women make up only 33% of researchers in EU

The proportion of women researchers in the EU remains low, according to data presented in the “SHE FIGURES 2018” report by the European Commission. In 2015, women represented only 33.4 per cent of researchers in EU’s 28 member states. This proportion hasn’t changed much since 2012, when women represented 33 per cent of researchers.
