Here’s a list of funding opportunities that link New Zealand to EU and non-EU member states

More than half of New Zealand’s researchers actively collaborate with European counterparts, making the EU New Zealand’s most significant international partner in science and innovation. This partnership builds on a Science and Innovation Cooperation Agreement signed in 2009, a deal aimed at enhancing collaboration through joint projects, researcher mobility and knowledge exchanges between research institutions, universities and businesses.
In 2023, New Zealand became an associate member of Horizon Europe, making it the first country outside the European region to gain full participation in Pillar 2 of the programme. Last May, the country’s science minister, Judith Collins, told Science|Business that New Zealand could join the next Framework Programme, FP10, which is set to launch in 2028.<…
