Mid-term review calls for broader success in winning grants and more French project coordinators

French research institutes and universities have been told to improve their performance in the second half of Horizon Europe. In particular, they must work towards broader success in winning grants and secure more project coordination roles.
“French participation is concentrated on a few large beneficiaries, which must do more to bring along the entire national research and innovation ecosystem,” according to a mid-term review carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
