France Télécom–Orange and Alcatel-Lucent have joined forces to promote open innovation in the Brittany and Loire regions.

Bell Labs is to expand its research in Ireland. The expansion, which will see 75 more researchers employed at the labs, will provide more opportunities for collaboration.
