The Alimentary Glycoscience Research Cluster at the National University of Ireland in Galway has been launched with a government grant of €5.2 million.

The tech transfer arm of Imperial College London said it is gaining momentum and the portfolio is maturing as it reported results for the year to 31 July 2009.

A £25 million centre at Queen’s University Belfast will gather together expertise in data security, network security, wireless network enabled systems and surveillance intelligence systems.
