The Dutch institution has received almost twice as much as the next organisation, while Spain leads the country table
Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands is home to both the university and a research centre. They participate as two separate institutions in the Framework Programme, and currently sit in spots one and two in the overall ranking for most-funded organisations.
In total, Wageningen has brought in around €111 million, with €57 million going to the research centre and €54 million to the university. This is around 3% of funding distributed through Cluster 6 to date, and makes up to one third of the Netherlands’ funding in this area.
The next Dutch organisation in the ranking, at number 35 is Waterschapshuis, the organisation involving the country’s 21 water boards.
