Here’s a list of funding opportunities that link Switzerland to EU and non-EU member states
Last December, Switzerland concluded negotiations with the European Union to become fully associated to Horizon Europe, the current EU research Framework Programme, as well as the Euratom research and training programme. The final agreement is set to be signed during 2025.
Until then, Switzerland remains a non-associated third country, but under transitional agreements its researchers can participate as beneficiaries in nearly all Horizon Europe, Euratom and Digital Europe Programme calls for proposals.
Once finalised, the deal will grant Switzerland associated country status, backdated to 1 January 2025.
