Commission is about to open a €138.6M call looking for solar and offshore energy projects and breakthrough ideas
Horizon Europe Pillar II is more than a vehicle for excellent research. It’s a policy tool as well, aiming to deliver on EU priorities in areas ranging from semiconductors to health and climate. The next set of calls opening later this month – the last big call in 2024 – focuses on energy supply.
The €138.6 million call includes 13 topics (coded as HORIZON-CL5-2024-D3) in the Horizon Europe work programme. These range from technologies for future ocean energy farms to market uptake measures for renewable energy systems.
