The European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s network of one-stop-shops will cover 23 countries by early in 2025. Here’s what they do
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) network of one-stop-shops across Europe’s less innovative regions is growing, with eleven more set to be added by the end of the year and six more in early 2025.
“We are very confident these will make a meaningful difference to our stakeholders on the ground,” says Luke Incorvaja, the scheme’s coordinator.
The Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) hubs are touch points for the EIT, the EU innovation agency which supports innovation across the continent through training, business support and funding.
The aim of the RIS scheme is for EIT to shift support to 22 EU countries and regions where aid is most needed to enable local innovators to flourish. <…
