InnoEnergy, the European innovation engine for sustainable energy, has appointed Frank Gielen as Education Director to strengthen the company’s education programmes – including its Master’s School and PhD School– through blended and digital learning and boosting links with industry.
Based in Brussels, Gielen joins InnoEnergy from his position as Head of EIT Digital’s Professional School. Gielen also brings extensive software expertise from his senior role at iMinds, the Flanders digital incubator and business accelerator to support the digitalisation of learning.
Gielen will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of InnoEnergy’s education proposition including its Master’s School and executive education initiatives. By combining entrepreneurship and innovation into scalable digital and blended learning courses, InnoEnergy aims to encourage the development and adoption of sustainable energy technologies in Europe.
