ESADE and Red.es offer €120,000 in scholarships to promote digital business training

The scholarships, which cover 30% of the cost of the Executive Master in Digital Business, are designed for professionals interested in developing business and marketing strategies for the digital age

ESADE Business School & Law School and the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism – acting through Red.es, a public business-promotion organisation – have announced the creation of Red.es–ESADE Scholarships for the upcoming edition of the Executive Master in Digital Business, which begins in October 2015 in Madrid and January 2016 in Barcelona.

This financial aid initiative was made possible by an agreement signed by ESADE and Red.es with the aim of improving the education and training of the professionals responsible for the digital development of companies. This year, a total of €120,000 in scholarships will be awarded for participants in the Executive Master in Digital Business at ESADE Business & Law School.

To qualify for this financial aid, participants accepted to the Executive Master in Digital Business must submit a Red.es–ESADE Scholarship application to ESADE Business School. The application deadline is 5th October for ESADE’s Madrid campus and 13th November for the Barcelona campus.

These scholarships fall under a global initiative developed by Red.es, which itself forms part of the “Digital Agenda for Spain”, which has allocated €1.5 million for scholarships that will allow students to receive digital business training from institutions approved by Red.es (including ESADE Business & Law School).

Executive Master in Digital Business

The aim of the Executive Master in Digital Business is to meet the demand for education in management and new technologies. In this increasingly competitive field, executives must possess key management knowledge that can be applied to e-business, social networks, mobile marketing and other areas in which an international vision is essential.

To meet these needs, the Executive Master in Digital Business delves into revolutionary concepts such as big data, data sciences and business information systems, in order to prepare participants for the role of chief digital officer.

The Executive Master in Digital Business at ESADE Business & Law School is designed for professionals who wish to acquire knowledge and skills to design and implement business and marketing strategies tailored to the new digital age, by taking advantage of new technologies and creating new opportunities in the online world. Last year, the average participant in the Executive Master in Digital Business was 35 years old and had 10 years of experience, primarily in the sales/marketing and information systems fields. Before enrolling in the programme, they had worked for companies such as eDreams, e-laCaixa, Endesa, Microsoft, Nike, Nissan, Santander, SM Grupo Editorial and Telefonica.
