The ESADE Alumni private investors network has formed an agreement with the Fundación Repsol to support innovative energy efficiency business projects. ESADEBAN will collaborate in the preparation of an incubation process for the projects selected by the Fundación Repsol's Entrepreneurs Fund, which is a pioneering initiative to promote innovative energy efficiency business projects.
The ESADE Alumni private investors network, known as ESADEBAN, and the Fundación Repsol, have formed an agreement for their collaboration in the activity and operation of the energy efficiency Entrepreneurs Fund’s created by the Fundación Repsol. With this agreement, the Entrepreneurs Fund will benefit from the experience and knowledge of ESADEBAN, which is focused especially in the investment sector, being linked principally to the sector specific or generalist risk capital group (Business Angels, Family Offices and risk capital companies), as well as the financial sector in general.
ESADEBAN will collaborate with the Fundación Repsol in the preparation of an incubation process for the business projects selected by the Entrepreneurs Fund, with regard to financing needs and the management of investor contacts, and assessing projects’ levels of maturity and their capacity to attract investment.
This collaboration will allow, on the one hand, for the combination of synergies, the extension of networks and creation of new opportunities for entrepreneurs, which in a sector like the energy sector has great prospects for the future. On the other hand, it will make the Fundación Repsol’s Investors Fund one of the landmark funds for investors in the energy efficiency field.
