Abertay Univesity Prototype Fund - second round open

The second round of a £5m investment project for start-up games industry firms is now open. 

Abertay University’s business support office is providing grants of up to £25,000 for small companies (based anywhere in the UK) that are developing their own games or other forms of interactive digital content.  

Successful Scottish applicants in the first round included Edinburgh-based 14 Principles - which provides tools, training and consultancy to make small games development teams more effective 

Another winner was Triple B Games, a developer based in Dundee which has released several titles. 

Digital entrepreneurs are being encouraged to apply for the second round of funding, which closes on 29 April.
