Crime wave hits science park

Talk to CEOs around Cambridge and some will complain about the high rents they have to pay. They ask themselves if it really is worth paying so much for a CB4 postcode.

Now they have another reason to ask questions. The Cambridge Science Park – they like to use the capital letters themselves – has just put out a warning about an outbreak of bicycle thefts, with the added exhortation "We would encourage you to be extra vigilant at this time and ensure your bicycles are securely locked."

Perhaps the bike thefts are the result of those high rents. No one has enough money left to buy their own wheels.
