The wireless system invention refers to a method and the associated embedded processing system for estimating the proximity history profile between a set of units.

The wireless system is applicable where an estimation of a given service time is required.
The system can be used for non invasive estimation of the time (and hence costs) provided by caregivers and hospital staff to patients (e.g. patient parents and relatives, nurses, doctors, etc).

It can be used also to measure the effectiveness index of a rehabilitation therapy as measured by the interaction time between a patient and caregivers.

In addition, it can be useful for the acquisition of information associated with proximity time enabling the manager to reorganise and design the activities to be carried out by caregivers.
