Ferd Venture has invested €2 million in the mobile phone software company Kvaleberg AS, of Oslo, Norway. The company has developed an integrated suite of end user applications for phone manufacturers, and the funding round will enable it to accelerate international sales activities.

At present most manufacturers write their own applications in house, but there is a move towards standardised software solutions.

“We are very pleased with attracting Ferd Venture as an investor in Kvaleberg and especially appreciate the added competence on business development,” says Egil Kvaleberg, founder and CEO of the company.
