Study grant

The Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Development has awarded the Baltic biotechnology body ScanBalt €15,850 to develop metrics for measuring the economic value that biotech contributes to the region.

In addition, the model will show how ScanBalt BioRegion improves regional cohesion and helps to solve problems in health, the environment, energy and nutrition, relevant to the populations in the Baltic Sea region.

It is hoped that the project will indicate ways to enhance and optimise the innovation infrastructure, in particular highlighting areas where cross-border collaboration could be applied to maximise the impact on sustainable development in the region.
