Funding round completed

Syncing.net, a spin-out from the Technical University Berlin, that develops software for Microsoft Outlook data synchronisation, has completed a financing round supported by Zukunftfonds Heilbronn to develop its sales network and product range.

Syncing.net’s software allows synchronisation of any Microsoft Outlook folders simultaneously between several computers via peer-to-peer networks. The software doesn’t require Microsoft Outlook Exchange and bypasses the need for a central server platform, which some small organisations cannot afford.

This technology allows all changes made within Outlook to be transferred immediately to all the members of a network, either individual or business users.

Using the Syncing software, home users can synchronise their PCs and share photos, music, documents, contacts and calendars with friends or family. Business users can extend the use of the software to synchronise their home, office and notebook computers, connect to offices remotely, manage virtual teams and share data with clients, partners and colleagues.
