Charismathics closes first financing round

Funding round completed

Charismathics of Munich, Germany a specialist in computer security components and identity management software, closed a first-round funding supported by Neuhaus Partners GmbH, BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft GmbH and Bayern Kapital GmbH.

The amount raised was not disclosed, but the money will finance further development of the company’s core product, Charismathics smart security interface (CSSI), and the expansion of sales activities.

“We are very pleased to gain the confidence of our partners and we are now able to work on the strategic structure of the company with solid backing,” said Charismathics’ Chief Executive Officer Sven Gossel.

Since its foundation in 2004, Charismathics has developed token-based identity management schemes based on open interface standards, which are compatible with all major hardware vendors and IT networking environments.
