Holland Venture has closed a new private equity fund of €70 million that focuses on growth and buyout investments in the Benelux countries. The targets of the fund are existing companies with an enterprise value of between €5 and €50 million that could benefit from the following trends: deregulation, changing demographics, sustainability and business succession. The fund will invest €3 to €13 million per transaction.

This new fund, the fifth fund of the Singapore Venture organisation, is led by managing partners Hubert Verbeek and Ewout Prins, who both have extensive experience in the Dutch private equity market. Both worked as investment managers for the previous Holland Venture Fund. Jos Houben, the third partner in the team, is an experienced entrepreneur and investor.

The sponsor of this new Holland Venture Fund is Natixis Private Equity, the private equity arm of French investment bank Natixis, which specialises in providing private equity for SMEs.
