Three life sciences and healthcare networking organisations in Oxford, London and Cambridge, UK, have made an agreement with the Massachusetts Biotech Council (MassBio) to encourage and promote the biotechnology industry in both regions.

The so-called Golden Triangle partnership, which brings together the Eastern Region Biotech Initiative based in Cambridge the Oxford Bioscience Network and the London Biotechnology Network, says the agreement with MassBio will encourage collaborations between each group’s member companies. The partners will promote each other’s investment and networking events to their respective members.

“This signifies an important step we are taking to extend our network globally with the intention to increase deal flow with Massachusetts companies and investors by facilitating introductions and presenting opportunities,” said ERBI Chief Executive Harriet Fear.

“This is a significant partnership that brings together the trade groups for two of the world’s largest life sciences clusters,” said Robert Coughlin, President & CEO of MassBio.
