ParisTech establishes nuclear energy collaboration

In the presence of Catherine Cesarsky, High Commissioner for Atomic Energy, ParisTech and three of its schools, Chimie ParisTech, ENSTA and ParisTech MINES, has sealed a partnership with the nuclear energy company AREVA Group.

This will result in the founding of two new chairs, one in Nuclear Engineering at the School of Chemistry and ENSTA ParisTech, and a chair of Nuclear Materials at the School of MINES ParisTech.

Research conducted by these chairs will explore new technologies for the development of nuclear energy. There will also be an involvement in training nuclear engineers.
