The fourth annual fundraising report on the Cambridge 800th Anniversary Campaign shows that by the end of the financial year 2008-2009, the campaign had raised £940 million from alumni and friends of the university.
Vice-Chancellor Alison Richard said, “We are enormously grateful to all our donors for their outstanding support. The campaign is playing a vital role in securing [...] Cambridge’s long-term financial underpinnings and ensuring that we can continue to offer transformative teaching and research for future generations.”
