ESADE has singed an agreement with Banco Santander under which the bank will make a €1.5 million donation over the next five years to establish an entrepreneurship research fund. Revenue from the endowment fund will be used to finance projects carried out by ESADE’s Entrepreneurship Institute (EEI).
As part of the agreement, an academic committee made up of ESADE and Santander representatives will be set up to track the progress of projects and assess which projects are eligible for financing.
Banco Santander will become a Senior Partner in the ESADE Corporate Relations Programme. In addition, a classroom on the Sant Cugat Campus will be named in appreciation of Banco Santander’s commitment to ESADE, and the bank will be included on the donor plaque in ESADE premises in Barcelona, Madrid and Sant Cugat.
