QS World University Rankings confirms Politecnico di Milano among the world top 20 universities in Engineering & Technology

The 2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject confirms Politecnico di Milano among the world top 20 universities in Engineering & Technology. The university is ranked fifth in the Design category, improving from last year's sixth place. Politecnico di Milano ranks in the top 10 worldwide in the Architecture category.

"Politecnico di Milano grows in the international rankings and confirms its position of excellence. We are proud of this, but we need to move forward. Covid has confronted us with choices that will change the university's future. Digital technology, international collaboration, and new teaching and research methods are the levers that we must use to reconfigure our global position and direct the growth of universities and the regions where they operate."

In Italy, Politecnico di Milano was confirmed the absolute leader in Engineering (in all subjects QS analysed: Computer Science & Information Systems; Chemical Engineering; Civil & Structural Engineering; Electrical & Electronic Engineering; Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering), and Architecture and Design.
