Professor Birgitta Henriques Normark at MTC has been elected as a Member of EMBO, an organisation of more than 1800 leading researchers that promotes excellence in the life sciences. New EMBO Members are elected annually in recognition of their contributions to research and achievements in the scientific community. EMBO Members review applications and participate in interviews for the Fellowship Programme and the Young Investigator Programme, propose topics and organisers for the Courses & Workshops Programme, and guide the actions of the organisation as members of EMBO Council and several committees.
