To remain competitive, Europe must expand and upskill its tech workforce. This priority is highlighted in several EU reports, including the one by former Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, and in a special analysis of EU competitiveness this January. However, technical skills alone aren’t enough— a product must also be well designed, sustainable, desirable. Since 2018, the ATTRACT Academy has been addressing these needs, offering well-tested curriculum from top European universities. At CERN’s IdeaSquare in Geneva, students gain practical experience with deep tech in real-world settings.
