Global health standards group seeks VP in London

The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) is hiring a Vice President for implementation and courses.

ICHOM is a non-profit organisation committed to transforming health care to a value- based system through universal measurement and reporting of patient outcomes. ICHOM brings together leading experts from around the world and develops global Standard Sets of outcomes, and supports their implementation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ICHOM’s global implementation strategy and for overseeing the delivery of all implementation projects.

The new Vice President will report to the President of ICHOM, will manage ICHOM’s implementation team in both the Boston and London offices, and will be working with ICHOM’s wider Management Team to drive implementation of ICHOM’s Standard.

Also, the successful candidate will be responsible for ICHOM’s global strategy for value based healthcare education courses, for the delivery of value based healthcare education courses across the globe, and for developing a team to support the delivery of value based healthcare education courses.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree. Postgraduate degree is desirable e.g. MBA/MPH/MPP
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience, showing strong career progression over this time. Experience working with healthcare IT systems on clinician or patient data capture is desirable
  • Experience of being a member of a Management Team in an organisation of at least similar complexity
  • Experience of working in a health care organisation
  • A strong passion for improving health care  
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
  • Strong communication skills and comfort developing and presenting content to audiences of varied seniority
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in a second language is a plus
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Strong MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
