Imperial Innovations company, Nexeon, a developer of next generation lithium ion battery technology, announced today it has been named in the Global Cleantech 100, produced by the Cleantech Group, a leading global research and advisory firm focused on innovation in energy and the environment.
This is the second time Nexeon has been recognized as part of the list. More than 8,000 companies from 85 different countries were nominated for the award, with Nexeon one of only eight UK companies to be selected.
The Global Cleantech 100 list draws together promising private clean technology companies from around the world, focusing on those most likely to make significant market impact in the next 5-10 years. Members of the Global Cleantech 100 are selected by a panel of 75 experts representing leading investors and multinational corporations from Asia, Europe and North America.
