Exit Games raises €3.5M

Funding round completed

Exit Games, of Hamburg, Germany, a service provider for multiplayer mobile and online games, announced the closing at €3.5 million of a private financing round supported by Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, Neuhaus Partners and smac partners (a private equity vehicle owned by the German electronic company Siemens).

This money will drive Exit’s international growth and support product development for new mobile and online technologies.

Exit Games Neutron is a global service platform for multiplayer mobile and online games, providing access mechanisms and end-user billing to multiple devices across different networks.

Its customers are developers and publishers of game software in the USA, Asia and Europe, such as mobile network operators, portals and technology companies. These include THQ Wireless, Glu, World Golf Tour, SkyZone, Square Enix’s UIEvolution, Fremantle Media, Verizon, Cingular, Sprint, Softbank,Vodafone, Qualcomm, Intel, Sony Ericsson and Siemens.

Neutron incorporates development tools with the operating platform, substantially reducing the cost of developing multiplayer games for mobile phones and PCs.

The worldwide connectivity of the Neutron platform opens up additional revenue streams, integrating operators’ and portals’ sales and payment systems as well as advertising and online communities of third party providers.
