The German Research Foundation, Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, is to establish 11 new Collaborative Research Centres with total funding of £75.5 million over the next four years.
Four of the new centres will be Transregional Collaborative Research Centres, located at multiple sites.
At the same time the foundation agreed also to continue funding 19 existing Collaborative Research Centres, bringing the number of centres it finances to 270.
A unique international forum for public research organisations and companies to connect their external engagement with strategic interests around their R&D system.
