US filtration specialists Pall Corporation acquired GeneSystems, a privately held French biotechnology company that specialises in molecular diagnostics for identifying bacterial contamination. The technology is relevant to environmental, food and beverage and water markets.
GeneSystems was founded in 2000 in Bruz, France, to commercialise a Legionella diagnostics platform. Since this product was launched in 2004 the company has developed systems for the rapid and precise diagnosis of a range of pathogens, including food safety testing focused on E. coli.

GeneSystems expands our ability to provide Total Fluid Management to meet customer's raw materials, production, testing and environmental requirements.”
