Research lead
The LifeCompetence database is now available providing a comprehensive picture all the research organisations and projects that were funded by the European Commission during the 2001-2006 Sixth Research Framework Programme.
The aim of the database is to increase transparency and accessibility of all Europe’s health research competences and to support competitiveness by encouraging cooperation between academia and clinicians with industry, and especially with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
It is hoped the LifeCompetence database will increase knowledge transfer, foster partnerships and enable more efficient management of research programmes.
