Licensing opportunity

Researchers at St Andrews University, Scotland, have devised a green chemistry process for producing organofluorine compounds. The fluorinase enzyme they have developed combines fluorine with S-adenosyl-L-methionine to generate 5'-fluro-5'-deoxyadenosine.

The university has been granted a European patent and is looking for companies that are interested in licensing the technology.
