Most start-ups know the feeling. You set up a meeting with a potential investor, turn up with your presentation – and then it all goes wrong. Now German business angels have decided to lend a helping hand, with courses on how to present to investors.
The coaching service comes from BAAR, the Ruhr and Rhein Business Angels Network, and covers subjects such as devising a proper business plan and a properly argued business case, as well as sticking to time and to the point.
The service comes at what the BAAR calls a modest fee to pay its own back office expenses. It stresses, though, that the buying into the service is not a precondition for firms wanting to present to the network.
While the focus will be on start-ups from the Ruhr and North Rhine Westfalia, the service is also on offer to start-ups from the rest of Germany and from neighbouring states. For more details, email [email protected].
