Neuhaus Partners and High-Tech Gründerfonds have increased their investment the email security services specialist antispameurope. The money will be used to finance the international growth of the Hannover-based company.

Both funds have invested in antispameurope since its first round in the autumn 2007, following on in the second financing round in April 2008. Gottfried Neuhaus, Managing Partner of Neuhaus Partners, said, “antispameurope is outstandingly well-positioned in the market [as] confirmed [...] by the increasing number of customers.”

Holger Heinen, Senior Investment Manager at High-Tech Gründerfonds, said, “The current financing round not only strengthens our position, but also promotes the company’s continued growth.”

Oliver Dehning, managing director, said the company has already had some success in Italy and Spain. “We intend to convert the initial achievements into growth, as we’ve done in Germany, and at the same time use our experiences from Spain and Italy to expand into other countries.”

Antispameurope says its services are compatible with all current e-mail systems, including those on mobile phones, without the need for additional software or hardware. The services include spam and virus filters, automatic e-mail signatures and archiving.
