Edinburgh: software for administering clinical trial applications

Licensing opportunity

Edinburgh University has developed a web based software programme, the Clinical Research Facility Manager, for administering clinical trials applications.

The Clinical Research Facility Manager can help clinical research facilities significantly reduce their start up times. At the request of clinical research facilities, Edinburgh has developed a support and maintenance agreement providing installation, a one day training course, and maintenance support for the product. Bespoke development can be requested at a minimal additional cost.

A non-exclusive one year licence for the software that includes installation, training and maintenance is available to not-for-profit organisations.

The system is web-based and thereby accessible by anyone with network access, once they have been given a username and password. Users can be put into groups, and different groups assigned appropriate permissions, depending on what they are allowed to do in the system. Drop down lists and views can be configured to meet local requirements.

This is a licence for not-for-profit organisations, not commercial organisations. Commercial terms will not be made available for this software.
