The Spanish Minister of Science and Innovation, Cristina Garmendia, has officially opened Esadecreapolis, the international innovation park founded by Esade.
The park began operations in February and is now home to over 40 companies. The aim is to foster an innovative spirit and help companies find new ideas through sharing the park’s facilities with counterparts from other sectors.
Joining the Minister at the inauguration was Josep Huguet, the Catalan Minister of Innovation, Universities and Enterprise.
The event began with a tour of the site during which the government officials chatted with representatives from the resident companies. Following this, the official opening ceremony was held at the Teatre-Auditori in Sant Cugat.
