09 Jun 2010 | Network Updates

The scientific publisher Elsevier has published two free special issues to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of Karolinska Institutet.

These are:

  • Recent Progress in Molecular Sciences: Reviews from Karolinska Institutet at its 200-year Anniversary; Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications; Guest editors: Hans Jörnvall and Sten Orrenius.

  • Special Issue Celebrating the 60-Year Anniversary of Experimental Cell Research and the 200-Year Anniversary of the Karolinska Institute; Experimental Cell Research; Editor: Urban Lendahl

The two journals decided to simultaneously publish special anniversary issues that present mini-reviews, written by leading scientists from the Karolinska Institute, illustrating recent developments within areas of biomedical research at the molecular level to commemorate the 200th anniversary. The two collections of review articles are available free online until August 2010, and are intended to give the scientific community a glance at the research performed at the Karolinska.

Access to these collections is available through ScienceDirect (http://www.sciencedirect.com).
