Digital Europe: How will it connect to Horizon?

A private Science|Business FP Working Group webinar (16:00 – 17:00 CET)

The Digital Europe Programme is an ambitious new building block in the EU’s policy portfolio to accelerate the digital transition, and to increase its capabilities and level of autonomy in five strategic capacity areas: supercomputing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills, and deployment, including through Digital Innovation Hubs. With a planned overall budget of €7.5 billion, it aims to accelerate the economic recovery and shape the digital transformation of Europe’s society and economy.

As Digital Europe moves towards its formal launch and first cycle of calls, what will be the opportunities for leading R&I organisations to engage?  And how will the interface with Horizon Europe be managed, so that the whole of the two programmes is greater than the sum of their parts?  In this private, online meeting, Science|Business Network members will have the chance to discuss these questions and more with senior representatives from the Commission’s directorates in charge of the process.
