Scientific evidence in policymaking: the role of the JRC

As the European Commission debates the future structure of policymaking decisions, we will be joined by Vladimir Šucha, Director-General of the Joint Research Centre, one of the major sources for evidence in EU policymaking, who will set out his thoughts about the role of the JRC and how policymakers should interact with science.

Science|Business will present a research paper comparing whose opinion matters in science controversies in different countries.
Access to this event is limited to members of the The Science|Business Network. For more information on how to join the Network, please contact Ross Melzer at [email protected] or call +32 28803044.
