A Science|Business Network webseries (14:00 - 14:45)
In light of the profound recent changes to working lives and the way we exchange R&I knowledge and insights, Science|Business is launching a new “Research Futures” webcast initiative: a series of online, interactive dialogues with experts to address different aspects of the global R&D landscape, including but not limited to COVID-19.
Our opening event will focus on the ways in which industry can contribute to defeating the coronavirus, in partnership with governments and other actors, and through its own R&D capabilities. The featured guest will be Pierre MEULIEN, executive director of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), who will discuss how public-private partnerships are responding to the pandemic, the prospects for accelerating industrial solutions to market, what the crisis means for hi-tech SMEs, and more.
NB: this first “Research Futures” event is for Science|Business Network members only
